This document describes how the product actually works. It is not legal advice: a review by a legal professional is still recommended before publication. It is a translation of the French original, which remains the reference version.
1. Purpose
LifeOS is a personal management app (tasks, objectives, planning, journal, identities, habits). By creating an account, you accept these terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. An account is personal and cannot be transferred.
3. Plans and payment
- Free: access to the core features, within the limits stated in the app.
- Pro (monthly or yearly) and Lifetime: they lift the free plan’s limits. Payment is handled by Stripe. The monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel yours at any time from Settings → Billing (Stripe portal).
- Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, amounts paid are not refunded pro rata if you cancel part-way through a period.
4. Permitted use
You agree not to use LifeOS for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to access other users’ data, and not to disrupt the operation of the service.
5. Your data belongs to you
The content you create (tasks, journal, objectives and so on) belongs to you. You can export it at any time (Settings → Data) and delete it, including by deleting your account (Settings → Account). See the privacy policy for details of how your data is handled.
6. Availability and no warranty
LifeOS is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep the service available, with no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. LifeOS is not a medical device and does not replace professional support (mental health, finances and so on): it is a personal organisation tool.
7. Termination
You can stop using LifeOS and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.
8. Changes
These terms may change; substantial changes will be flagged to you in the app before they take effect.
9. Service publisher
LifeOS is published by Théo Cannac, sole trader operating under the business name “Cannac Communication”, SIRET 828 140 160 00015, 36 rue des Fontenelles, 92310 Sèvres, France.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the courts of Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine) have sole jurisdiction.
