If macOS blocks LifeOS from opening
LifeOS isn’t notarized by Apple yet. The first time you open it, macOS may say it can’t verify the app. You only need to do this once:
- Close the message without moving the app to the Trash.
- Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, then scroll down to the Security section.
- Next to the message about LifeOS, click “Open Anyway”, then confirm with your password or Touch ID.
- Open LifeOS again and choose “Open Anyway” in the dialog that appears.
On macOS 11 and 12, the same button is in System Preferences › Security & Privacy, General tab.
